Fellow Australian HyTerra Limited (ASX:HYT) has also been progressing its geological helium operations though that is secondary to its focus on natural or white hydrogen.
HyTerra is preparing to conduct production testing of its McCoy-1 well in the current quarter to evaluate hydrogen and helium flow characteristics and concentrations.
This will help assess sustainable flow rates, validate reservoir behaviour and generate the data needed to support future drilling and appraisal decisions across its Nemaha Ridge lease position in Kansas.
Nemaha Ridge is close to nearby ammonia, helium and petrochemical plants, allowing for rapid commercialisation.
