A Stockhead Special Report: Encouraging results have led Fortescue-backed HyTerra to convert the Sue Duroche-3 exploration well within its Nemaha natural hydrogen and helium project in Kansas into a monitoring well.
Following the successful drilling of the Sue Duroche-3 well, which recorded hydrogen concentrations up to 96.1%, we have initiated its conversion into a monitoring well. This move allows us to conduct long-term surface pressure and gas monitoring, providing critical data to inform potential extended testing programs.
Preparations are underway for the drilling of our second well, Blythe 13-20, located near the historical Scott-1 well, which reported hydrogen concentrations up to 56%. This step is part of our comprehensive 12-month exploration program aimed at unlocking the potential of white hydrogen in the region.
We look forward to sharing further updates as we continue to advance our exploration program.
